kapa haka

On Thursday, We went to the Memorial hall to do Kapa haka. As we were getting changed I felt nerves and when we arrived to the hall I felt like I was going to faint and then, when we got on the stage I felt like I was on the Taumata at school and as we sang the songs I was looking at the people that was on the chairs watching us and I was trying to spot my mum and there she was looking sitting down watching us and as we sang the first song that was about Whaea Dawnette and Matua Hui called E te Mate and every time Matua Hemara would sing the group would do louder because we were the biggest group there and the loudest school there.

We finally finished our first song and we moved to the next song and then the next and then the next and then it came to the last song and since I was the nerves I felt like just standing there on stage and just look at everyone that was there and then we walked to our bags and got on the bus.

Finally we got back to school and had lots of fun.
